Let’s have a look at one of Clara’s most common items: the red Topshop jumper. It is really easy to come by for a small price and can be found all over eBay and Depop. All you really have to do is open one or the other and search for “red Topshop jumper” and this one will pop up in various sizes.

As for the price, I’ve seen this one go as low as £3 because it’s a really common item that everyone seems to be selling at all times. If you can’t find it, wait a few days and it will be there. It was one of the first cosplay items I bought when I started using Depop. I wouldn’t spend a fortune on this one because of how common it is. Thanks to the ladder stitch, it’s also very prone to threat pulls. But luckily for us cosplayers, they’re being sold very often and for little money.

Topshop clothes never really fit true to size or at least I get this feeling they don’t. This jumper is one of the bigger items. You can size down at least one size without having to fear that it will be too small (unless you’re a bodybuilder and have insanely big arms). It’s a very loose fitting item and even my size UK6 looks big on me.

Due to the holes, it’s very see-through, but a black tank top looks great when worn under it and I think that’s what Clara did in the scenes as well. As soon as I got it, I started wearing this jumper even outside of cosplay photos because it has a casual and unique look that I quite like. I even considered buying the mustard coloured alt because I like the fit of the jumper. The material of this jumper is 100% acrylic.

I like mixing and matching my cosplay items sometimes and I once wore it with Clara’s &Other Stories A-Line skirt and a beige tank top and I think it looked great:

I am really not sure whether Clara actually wears the Topshop Scallop shorts in these scenes because the TARDIS scene is quite dark and we never actually see her legs once she exits the TARDIS, but she definitely wears something short and black and since the DW costume department liked reusing pieces during S8, I assume it’s the Scallop shorts.
